First Steps in Music

For students ages 0 to 3 and 3 to 5.

First Steps in Music is our Mommy and Me music and movement class designed to develop tuneful, beatful, and artful children.

Tuneful: They will hear tunes in their heads that they can sign

Beatful: They will feel the pulse of music that they can dance to and play.

Artful: They will be moved by music in many emotional responses

This class is perfect as preparation for Suzuki violin, viola, or cello lessons.

Overview of activities:

  • Singing

  • Rhythmic activities

  • Music and movement

  • Instrument exploration (violin and cello)
